Why Canada?

Canada is a global hub for mining activities, including the extraction of precious metals like gold, silver, platinum, and palladium. This is driven by several key factors:

  • Rich Natural Resources: Canada boasts a rich and diverse geological landscape with vast mineral resources. It is one of the largest countries by land area, with a significant proportion of its terrain underlain by Precambrian rocks, which are known to be rich in precious metals.
  • Advanced Infrastructure: Canada's mature mining infrastructure, including advanced technologies, transportation networks, and trained workforce, allows for efficient exploration, extraction, and processing of precious metals.
  • Favourable Government Policies: The Canadian government provides a conducive environment for mining operations. There are clear regulations and guidelines, tax incentives, and support for research and development, all of which attract domestic and international mining companies.
  • Environmental and Social Responsibility: Canadian mining firms such as Silveroc Mines are recognised for their responsible mining practices. They're committed to environmental stewardship, safety, and maintaining positive relationships with local communities, often going above and beyond regulatory requirements.

Overview of projects

As of end 2023, Silveroc Mines operates 4 sites in Canada, 3 of which are privately owned. Thanks to the metal-rich underground of Canada, Silveroc Mines successfully mines 16 million metric tonnes of Gold, Silver, Copper and Zinc every year.
